|English Classes for Migrant Workers
Through ESF Convergence funding in Cornwall we worked on several projects from July 2008 to March 2012 providing classes for over 450 participants through the following:
Skills for Work 612 Project providing English Language classes
for employed migrants within Cornwall, working with a large number of companies.
Partnership Works 605 Project provision of English classes for unemployed migrants in order for them to gain certified qualifications extending their employability.
Bienvenido Project to help unemployed migrants to gain the confidence needed to get back to work, through the provision of English language training and support.
Equator Project provision of English classes to unemployed migrants in Cornwall in order to start their journey back into the workplace.

Point Europa worked on the Clusters Project in partnership with Cornwall College, Cornwall Adult Education Service and the Learning Partnership, funded through ESF Convergence, in the provision of a number of different adult training courses including:
Numeracy and Literacy Levels 1 and 2
BIIAB Beer Cellar Management
Pttls (Teacher Training)
CIEH Food Safety Level 2
ECDL (European Computer Driving License)
CCLD (Child Care Learning and Development) NVQ Level 3
LANTRA Brush Cutter and Chainsaw Course
Non Accredited (Bespoke) E Advertising IT Training
These courses were specifically for people employed by businesses in the Caradon region in order to help enhance their existing skills and qualifications.
