Point Europa are working together with a German Company called Praxis who run the "Ida - Integration durch Austrausch" (Integration through exchange) programme, which is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the European Social Fund.

The IDA programme aims to help people who are experiencing difficulty accessing the training or labour market, find a suitable course of training or employment through transnational mobility projects. The focus of their activities is a supervised short stay visit abroad (internship, job placement or training course).

Point Europa have been hosting groups of 6 or less participants here in Cawsand since November 2010. The project provides work placements in local businesses and organisations for the candidates' 6/7 week stay along with English lessons.

The participants have a range of interests and we are always looking for new opportunities and activities for them to experience.

If you think you could provide a short term placement or would like any further information on the project, please contact Emma Powell on 01752 823015, or email
